Sirens: "Super Suspicious" in Chehalis; Stolen Vehicle; Lost Hunter

Chehalis Police Department

Theft

• Angel R. M. Nelson, 19, Chehalis, was arrested for three counts of second-degree theft from a business on the 1200 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

•  Suzanne B. Mendoza, 37, Tacoma, was arrested for third-degree theft at a business on the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 4:55 p.m. Thursday. She was also booked for a Department of Corrections warrant. 

Suspicious Circumstances

• A man was reported to be looking into buildings and acting “super suspicious” on the 600 block of Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way at 11:15 a.m. Thursday. The caller thought “he was tweaking.”

Driving While Suspended

• Alan M. Carroll, 31, Chehalis, was cited for driving with a suspended license at the intersection of Cascade Avenue and Lewis Street at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.

• Jeffrey M. Thurston, 37, Chehalis, was arrested and released on the 100 block of Southwest 10th Street at 4:05 p.m. Thursday for driving with a suspended license and cited for driving without insurance.

 

Centralia Police Department

Stolen Vehicle

• A 1991 black Honda Accord was taken sometime between 6 and 8 a.m. Thursday from the 1100 block of Brotherson Road. It was reported at about

9:10 a.m. that day.

Suspended License

• Juan Hernandez, 36, Ethel, was cited and released for driving with a suspended license on the 200 block of West Main Street at 1:48 p.m. Thursday.

• Gregory E. Beckham, 45, Centralia, was cited and released for driving with a suspended license at the intersection of Chestnut and Yew at 4:20 p.m. Thursday. He was then booked into the Lewis County Jail for an outstanding warrant.

Possession of Stolen Property

• Matthew L. Emery, 28, Rochester, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for first-degree possession of stolen property at about 9:20 p.m. Thursday on the 400 block of West Pear Street. He was arrested after allegedly being stopped in and running from a vehicle that was reported stolen in Lacey a day earlier. 

Vehicle Prowl

• Someone broke into a vehicle overnight on the 1400 block of Crescent Avenue. It was reported at around 6:40 a.m. Friday.

Theft

• Someone stole a jacket from a business on the 100 block of West High Street around 7:15 p.m. Thursday.

 

Lewis County Sheriff’s Department

Lost Hunter

• On Thursday at about 8 p.m. a man called, saying he couldn’t find his hunting partner. Deputies responded to Wildcat Drive off the 620 Road in the Adna area. Deputies searched on foot and used cell phone GPS. They found him by yelling at about 10:53 p.m. The 67-year-old Puyallup man was found uninjured about 400 yards off the road. He was treated for dehydration and exhaustion.
