Sirens: Reported Rape; Domestic Assault Leads to Pursuit; Minors in Possession

Centralia Police Department

Malicious Mischief

• Someone removed the screws holding the light to a vehicle on the 100 block of Jackson Street at about 3:38 p.m. Sunday.

• Brandon S. Meek, 41, Chehalis, is being sent a summons for malicious mischief and criminal trespassing for allegedly driving a Ford Bronco through the grass by a motel office at about 9:06 p.m. Saturday.

Reported Rape

• Police are investigating a report of an adult having sexual relations with an underaged minor sometime in the past. The report was taken at the 1100 block of West Chestnut Street at about 3:54 p.m. Sunday,. 

Disorderly Conduct

• Jacob S. Drury, 19, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for disorderly conduct at about 4:41 p.m. Friday. He allegedly walked through traffic, yelled and threw things at passing vehicles. He then walked up to a house and announced he had been shot, when in fact he hadn’t.

Domestic Assault

• Shane L. Davis, 41, Vancouver, Washington, was handed over to Washington State Patrol, which arrested him for domestic violence assault at milepost 85 on Interstate 5 at about 5:25 p.m. Sunday. After allegedly assaulting someone on the freeway, Davis ran into the woods. He emerged two hours later and was found by a police dog and its handler on the 2300 block of Blair Raid.

Reckless Driving

• Gabriel P. Lopez, 23 of Centralia, was cited for reckless driving at the intersection of Allen Street and Borst Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Trespassing

• Michael A. Hilton, 31, Centralia, was served with a summons for criminal trespassing after an incident on the 100 block of Virginia Drive at about 6:40 p.m. Sunday. Neighbors reported seeing a transient they knew allegedly entering an apartment without permission while the tenant was away.

Theft

• A clerk reported a cash till was stolen from a motel on the 1000 block of Eckerson Road at about 8:47 p.m. Sunday.

• Someone stole tools from a vehicle overnight from the 1100 block of J Street. It was reported at about 6:10 a.m. Saturday.

• Steven O. Hoffman, 33, Centralia, and Rachel D. Beaubien, 33, Olympia, were cited for shoplifting on the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue at about

12:30 p.m. Monday.

• Someone posing as a sales representative from a cell phone store was reported for stealing cell phones on the 1200 block of Lum Road at 4 p.m. Monday. 

Burglary

• A person videotaped suspects burglarizing a vacant house on the 1000 block of Eckerson Road. It was reported at 3 p.m. Monday. 

Assault

• Kendra J. Chancy, 29, Centralia was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for fourth-degree, assault domestic violence, and resisting arrest on the 2500 block of Eureka Avenue at about 10:22 a.m. Saturday. 

Vehicle Prowl

• Unlocked vehicles were gone through during the night on the 900 block of North Washington Avenue. Nothing was missing. The report was made at 11:35 a.m. Saturday.

Drug Possession

Brian M. Williams, 26, Centralia, was arrested and booked in the Lewis County Jail for possession of meth and a Department of Corrections escape warrant at the intersection of Mellen and Marsh streets at about

7 p.m. Saturday. He is being referred on charges of resisting arrest. He allegedly ran from officers who recognized him and tried to stop him for his warrant.

 

Chehalis Police Department

Theft

• Keylon D. Trimmer, 18, Toledo, was arrested and released for third-degree theft after shoplifting from a business on the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 7:15 p.m. Friday.

• A 16-year-old female was arrested for third-degree theft and released after shoplifting from a business on the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 7:31 p.m. Friday.

• Dustin Z. Nickols, 21, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for third-degree theft and warrants after allegedly shoplifting from a business on the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 10 p.m. Friday. He didn’t have shoes when he came inside, so he put a pair on and walked out of the store. He was booked on warrants and cited for theft.

• Louie J. Muller, 33, Pe Ell, was arrested and released for third-degree theft on the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 5:53 p.m. Saturday. He placed hair dye and cheese and crackers outside of the business’s fence and hid condoms, according to the report.

Minor in Possession

• A 17-year-old Winlock girl was arrested and released for being a minor in possession of liquor on the 300 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue at about 1:32 a.m. Saturday.

• A 17-year-old Chehalis boy was arrested and released for being a minor in possession of liquor on the 400 block of North Market Boulevard at about 1:20 a.m. Sunday.

Indecent Exposure

• Someone was seen in an older Chevy Suburban hanging his bare bottom out of the passenger side window and on the 600 block of Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way at 12:20 a.m. Saturday.

 

Lewis County Sheriff

Burglary

• A 65-year-old reported someone broke into his safe and stole about $5,000 worth of old coins from the 100 block of Clark Road in Onalaska sometime between Oct 10 — 17. There is a person of interest.

Giving Alcohol to Minors

• Jaime Perez, Jr., 21, Chehalis, was referred to the prosecutor’s office for charges of permitting someone under 21 to consume liquor on the premises under his control sometime between 11:40 p.m. and 2:09 a.m. Perez was allegedly having a party on the 1600 block of Bishop Road. After getting into a car crash at around 2:21 a.m., two minors said they were served alcohol at Perez’s house.
