Sirens: Heroin Possession; Burgled Bike; Vehicle Prowls

Heroin Possession

• Police arrested Ronald R. Filer, 28, Centralia, and Michelle D. Nelson, 27, Centralia for suspected possession of heroin with intent to deliver on the 100 block of South Oak Street at 9:20 p.m. Thursday. Both were booked into the Lewis County Jail; Filer was also booked on an outstanding warrant.

Burgled Bike

• A mini bike was reported stolen from outside a home on the 400 block of South Silver Street at 11:02 Thursday morning.

Vehicle Prowls

• A broken vehicle window and a missing stereo were reported from the 200 block of North Tower Avenue at 12:29 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

• Shortly after that report, officers responded to another report of a vehicle prowl in which a caller said a backpack was taken from his vehicle on the 600 block of West Main Street. Officers responded at 12:39 p.m. and tried to find a suspect who the victim said had fled toward Centralia College, but were unsuccessful.

• A backpack was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a parking lot on the 1000 block of Kresky Avenue at 5:25 p.m. Thursday.

Crashes

• Police responded to a report of hit and run to a parked vehicle at the intersection of Borst Avenue and Johnson Road at

9:22 p.m.

• A non-injury two-vehicle crash was reported at 6:14 p.m. on the 800 block of Harrison Avenue.
