SCJ Alliance Expands Environmental Services With New Hire

SCJ Alliance in Centralia has hired Timothy Haderly as its principal environmental scientist, allowing the firm to expand and enhance the environmental services it provides, according to a press release.

“I like variety in life, and that’s one of the things that attracted me to SCJ Alliance,” Haderly said in a press release. “SCJ’s breadth of services and diversity of clients is ideal for me.”

For more than 28 years, Haderly provided a wide variety of public and private clients with professional natural resource consulting and land planning/permitting services in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. 

According to a press release, he specailzes in linear projects, in-water structures, mining, mitigation planning and stream restoration. He is also experienced in conducting wetland delineations, the designing and implementation of wetland mitigation plans, typing streams, performing shoreline investigations and preparing permit applications. 

“He is a great asset to SCJ as a firm, and in particular to our Land Use & Environmental Planning Group,” SCJ Principal Eric Johnston said in the release. “His location in our Centralia office elevates the accessibility of environmental services to our clients in Lewis County and surrounding counties as well. His long career in environmental consulting also makes him a great resource as a senior technical reviewer.”



SCJ is a multidisciplinary consulting firm that specializes in civil engineering, transportation planning and design, environmental and urban planning, landscape architecture and design, and public outreach.

Some of its Southwest Washington projects include work on the new Chehalis elementary schools, several projects at Centralia College, the North Lewis County Industrial Access study and Napavine’s comprehensive plan update. 

The firm is headquartered in Lacey, but also has offices in Centralia, Seattle, Ballard.
