Sashiko quilting class to be held Jan. 21

The Lewis County Clothing and Textile Advisers, part of the WSU Lewis County Extension program, will offer a class in sashiko quilting from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 21, at the Extension Office Meeting Room in the courthouse basement in Chehalis. Tomoko Tsuchiya, of Japan, will be the instructor.

Each student will need to bring: a number 10 milliners needle, pin cushion, scissors, and one of the following: tracing wheel, stylus or a herra. Fabric and thread will be provided.
