Registration Open for Blazer 5K Run, Walk

Centralia College will host the first-ever Blazer 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 21.

The event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and ability levels, stated a press release from the college.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. The race starts at 10 a.m. at the Health and Wellness Center on the corner of Iron and Walnut streets. The run is a flat course and will wind around the college’s campus.

Registration includes a t-shirt. Prices are $20 for community members, $15 for Centralia College students with ID, and $8 for children under 10, or free for the child if no t-shirt is wanted.

Deadline for pre-registration and t-shirts is May 16.



Registration will be available the day of the race, but will not include a t-shirt.

After the race there will be lawn games, a bouncy house, snacks, a barbecue by Centralia College athletes, and the first Vintage Wheels Car Show in the China Creek parking lot.

All after race events are free and open to the public.
