Providence Gala Raises $92,000

More than $92,000 was raised at Providence Centralia Hospital Casino Royale Dinner & Auction on Saturday night.

The funds raised at the 31st annual auction will be used to further the mission of Providence to provide healthcare to all, including an eICU, a form of telemedicine that combines state-of-the-art technology and analytics with high-level medical expertise. The eICU allows Lewis County patients to stay close to their homes and families when receiving medical services.

“As medicine advances, Providence Centralia Hospital has opportunities to bring those advancements to our residents through new technology and treatments that were not available before,” said Peter Brennan, the chief philanthropy officer for the Providence Foundation. “In this case, the generosity of our community bridged the financial gap to make this possible.”

More than 200 people attended the gala, which was held at the Jester Auto Museum and Event Center in Chehalis.

“On behalf of the Providence Centralia Hospital patients and Lewis County families who will benefit from this program, I would like to thank our generous hosts and guests for such a remarkable evening,” said Brennan. “The community embraced the approach to advancing the Providence mission in this community.”

For those unable to attend the gala, donations are still welcome. Go to the Providence Health Care Foundation — Centralia website or call 360-827-7940 for more information.
