The Port of Centralia approved the real estate purchase and sale agreement between the port and WhoDat Towers for lot No. 26 in Port of Centralia Industrial Park II. WhoDat Towers is a metal fabricator that specializes in custom fishing towers for boats.

“They are currently leasing from us,” said Port of Centralia CEO Kyle Heaton. “Lot No. 26 is located just to the south of Southworth (Court). It’s kind of a nonconforming lot in there. It’s actually nice that we can find someone that can utilize that lot — not everybody would be able to.”

Heaton recommended the commissioners approve the sale.

“The initial phase will be an 8,000 square-foot manufacturing facility, with the ability to expand that in the future,” Heaton said. “They are very happy here at the port. Their business is booming, so this is one step along the way. It’s not a final sale. Obviously they have things they need to do feasibility wise, but this is a step in the process.”

WhoDat Towers is located at 1708 Midway Court in Centralia.
