Thorbeckes Fitness Centers has named Efrain Sanchez as its company-wide general manager.
Sanchez has been employed with Thorbeckes as a trainer and total athlete performance director since 2003. He has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in exercise science from Eastern Washington University. He has also instructed classes at Centralia College and Lower Columbia Community College in health, fitness, weight-training and nutrition.
“Efrain, or Ef as many of us know him, has the education, hands-on experience, knowledge and passion that I know will help lead this company into the next chapter of success for our employees, our members and the communities where we reside,” Matt Noren, the owner of Thorbeckes, said in a press release.
Sanchez lives in Toledo with his wife Britney and daughter.
Thorbeckes also promoted Kari Smith and Tracy Lambert to assistant general managers. They will oversee the facilities in Chehalis and Centralia, respectively.
