Lewis County’s newest attorney,  Erin R. McCrillis, became the newest member of the Lewis County Bar Association on Sept. 21, when she pledged her oath before Lewis County Superior Court Judge Joely O’Rouke.

McCrillis is an associate in the Tiller Law Firm, located in Centralia.

McCrillis graduated from Enumclaw High School in 2011 as an honor student and St. Martin’s University in 2015. While at SMU she studied abroad in Galway, Ireland. She is a marathon runner and white-water rafting guide. Other outdoor passions include backpacking, rock climbing, paddle boarding and kayaking.

McCrillis is a 2018 graduate of the University of Idaho College of Law, where she earned positions on the Dean’s List and the National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition team. Again, she studied abroad, this time in Florence Italy. While in Europe she and her father hiked the historic Camino de Santiago, covering 508 miles in 33 days, living out of backpacks with two changes of clothing. Back at law school she was elected president of the Student Bar Association and selected by her peers to receive the school’s 2018 Outstanding Student Service award.
