A motorcyclist died after a 5:35 p.m. crash Saturday evening on Old Highway 99 near Angus Road north of Tenino.

The victim, whose identity has not yet been revealed, was riding a 2010 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The motorcyclist was driving southbound on Old Highway 99 just north of Angus road, went off the roadway to the right, struck a mailbox, and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the State Patrol.

There were no other vehicles involved. The cause is under investigation.
