Lindsey Baum Garden Dedication Set for June 26

Posted

A dedication for a garden designed as a remembrance for Lindsey Baum, a 10-year-old girl who disappeared in McCleary in 2009, is scheduled for 7 p.m. June 26 at Beerbower Park in McCleary.

The dedication marks 10 years since Lindsey Baum was abducted. Her remains were found in a remote location in Eastern Washington last year and a law enforcement investigation is ongoing.

“Lindsey’s Remembrance Garden is being designed as a place to remember Lindsey as well as a place that will enhance and bring some light and color to the community out of this tragedy,” reads a press release from Melissa Baum. “This will be an area of beauty that parents can utilize as they watch their children at play in the park. We hope to see you all there.”
