Thurston and Lewis counties government offices will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving. They will resume regular hours on Monday, Nov. 30.
The Waste and Recovery Station in Lacey and the transfer stations in Centralia and Morton will be closed on Thursday but will reopen on Friday.
Curbside waste collection schedules will remain unchanged, collections of recycling and garbage will still happen on Thanksgiving.
Twin Transit will not be operating on Thanksgiving. It will resume on Friday morning at its regular time, but will stop operating at 3 p.m.
Intercity Transit of Thurston County will not operate its local or express bus services on Thanksgiving Day. However, regular weekend service will resume on Friday, including Dial-A-Lift service.
