NW Sports Hub

The building will be expanding outward into the parking area seen from the inside of the Northwest Sports Hub in Centralia.

The Lewis County Board of Commissioners is asking for volunteers to apply to represent commission district 2 on the county’s Public Facilities District.

District 2 encompasses the region of the county west of Interstate 5 from southern Chehalis to Toledo. A map is available at maps.lewiscountywa.gov/maps/VoteDistServAreas/comm_dist2.pdf

The PFD formed in 2007 to create what has become the NW Sports Hub and sports complex in Centralia. The board includes five voting members and one non-voting member and meets in Chehalis at 10 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month. The person selected will serve the remainder of a term running through August 2021.

To apply, submit an application and a letter of interest to BOCC Clerk of the Board Rieva Lester by mail at 351 N.W. North St., Chehalis, WA 98532, by email at Committees@LewisCountywa.gov (with PFD in the subject line), or in person at the commissioners’ office in Room 210 of the historic courthouse at 351 N.W. North St. in Chehalis.

For questions about the PFD position, please contact Lewis County Treasurer Arny Davis at 360-740-1110 or PFD member Candy Hallom at 360-740-1391.
