The Lewis County Board of Commissioners is asking for volunteers to apply to represent commission district 2 on the county’s Public Facilities District.

District 2 encompasses the region of the county west of Interstate 5 from southern Chehalis to Toledo. A map is available at maps.lewiscountywa.gov/maps/VoteDistServAreas/comm_dist2.pdf

The PFD formed in 2007 to create what has become the NW Sports Hub and sports complex in Centralia. The board includes five voting members and one non-voting member and meets in Chehalis at 10 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month. The person selected will serve the remainder of a term running through August 2021.

Applications are due by 3 p.m. Jan. 30 and are available at lewiscountywa.gov/offices/commissioners/bocc-news/county-seeks-volunteer-represent-district-2-pfd/.

To apply, submit an application and a letter of interest to BOCC Clerk of the Board Rieva Lester by mail at 351 N.W.
