Lewis County Seeks Proposals for Homeless Housing Funds

Lewis County’s Public Health and Social Services Department is requesting proposals for its Homeless Housing funds. The funds can cover activities ranging from homeless housing, affordable housing and housing services. Those services must be provided to low-income, homeless or those at risk of becoming homeless.

The contracts that are awarded will last for 12 months, and applications are expected to draw on existing community strengths and partnerships. The total amount of funding available is $475,000.



Written questions are due by Oct. 8, with responses posted on Oct. 15. Applications are due on Nov. 5, with presentations on the week of Nov. 12. Awarded contracts will begin on Jan. 1. Submissions must be sent by email to meja.handlen@lewiscountywa.gov.
