Lewis County Model Railroad Club Sponsors Train Show

The Lewis County Model Railroad Club is sponsoring its Fall Model Train Show and Swap Oct. 12 and 13 at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds. 

This is an all scales show with items from Z scale to G scale plus Tinplate, Toy Trains, and collectibles. Multiple operating layouts will be on display and probably LEGO Trains.

More than 160 tables available for sellers,



On Saturday only, admission to the Lewis County Historical Museum, home of the Lewis County Model Railroad Club layout, is free. 

At the fairgrounds, the 15-foot by 52-foot layout will be open and operating. Organizers recommend attendees go to the show first and then visit the museum before it closes at 4 p.m. The museum is located next to the train tracks in downtown Chehalis, 599 NW Front Way. The show is located at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds Blue Pavilion building. 2555 N. National Ave., Chehalis. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is still just $5 per person. Children 10 and under free.
