Tuition scholarships for advanced education are once again being offered to women by the Lewis County Branch of the American Association of University Women.  Each award provides $1,000 in tuition for a full-time female student or $500 for a part-time graduate of a high school in Lewis County or Rochester.

Also eligible are women who have resided in Lewis County or the city of Rochester for at least two years before entering an accredited institution of higher learning. Such institutions include colleges and universities as well as online, technical, and trade schools.

Women may be enrolled on any undergraduate level; freshman through senior. The woman must exhibit accomplishment and service to college or community, have a strong record in academic or technical courses, and demonstrate financial need.

Application forms and further information are available at aauwlcscholarship@gmail.com.  Completed applications must be postmarked no later than February 15, 2020.
