Borst Home

The Borst Home, one of the filming locations for “Maysville.”

The final Borst Home open house of this summer will include an informational program on friendship quilts and signature blocks, according to Borst Home volunteers.

The open house is scheduled for 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the house in Centralia’s Fort Borst Park.

As always, volunteers and living historians will be at the house giving tours. The house, schoolhouse, carriage house and gardens will be open.

An informational program “Friendship Quilts and Signature Blocks” will take place starting at 2 p.m. The school bell will ring to signal the start of the program.

The Borst Home is open to visitors once a month from spring to fall. Admission is free but donations are accepted.
