Grays Harbor County Road Blocked for Six Hours After Crash

A road in Grays Harbor County was blocked for six hours Saturday night after a two-vehicle crash that injured three people, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A 34-year-old Ocean Shores woman, a 48-year-old Hoquiam woman and a 51-year-old Elma man were injured and taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital.

About 8 p.m. Saturday, the Ocean Shores woman was northbound state Route 109 with two passengers when she apparently failed to yield to traffic and was hit by the Elma man in his vehicle. Her jeep spun and stopped in the road, while his Dodge Charger wound up in a ditch.



Of her two passengers, the 48-year-old woman was hurt, but a 22-year-old Ocean Shores man was uninjured.

The road was blocked for six hours and 19 minutes, according to the state patrol.
