The Pe Ell Trojan Booster Club Scholarship Foundation committee is set to host its annual fundraiser this March, and is currently accepting monetary and auction item donations.

“Last year, we raised over $10,000 at our benefit dinner and auction, to this we say a huge THANK YOU,” wrote Pe Ell Trojan Booster Club Scholarship Foundation president Vandi Greenwood in a letter to The Chronicle. “This year we are setting our goal even higher! Last year we were able to give $10,500 in scholarships to our graduating seniors; this year we would like to continue that amount.”

The theme for the annual benefit dinner and live auction is “Shamrocks & Shenanigans.” Dinner is a choice of prime rib or stuffed chicken breast, with potatoes and salad. The evening will also include a “dessert frenzy.”

The benefit dinner and auction begins with a preview at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 16 in the Pe Ell School gymnasium. The dinner takes place at 6 p.m. and the auction takes place at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 for the dinner.

In addition, the Pe Ell Trojan Booster Club Scholarship Foundation committee will host an online Facebook auction on Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10. The foundation is taking item donations until March 4 for this online fundraiser.

Committee members are willing to pick up donation items for the auction. To make a monetary donation, make checks payable to Pe Ell Trojan Booster Club, Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 368, Pe Ell, WA 98572. For deductions, the organization’s tax ID# is 91-1060792.
