The deadline for applying for 2020 Lewis County American Association of University Women scholarships is Feb. 15.
The $500 or $1,000 scholarships are open to women pursuing post-graduate studies. Applicants must be a graduate of a high school in Lewis County or in Rochester, or women who have resided in Lewis County or Rochester for at least two years.
Applicants may be enrolled on any undergraduate level.
“The woman must exhibit accomplishment and service to college or community, have a strong record in academic or technical courses, and demonstrate financial need,” according to the local AAUW chapter.
