Onalaska Alliance Plans Candidate Forum
The Onalaska Alliance will host a 2018 Candidate Forum from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Onalaska Elementary gym at 540 Carlisle Ave.
Candidates will be answering questions specifically related to the Onalaska area and their priorities for Lewis County.
The first hour will be questions to each candidate. The second hour, candidates will be at tables meeting with residents and answering their questions. This provides local residents a chance to meet each candidate personally and have their questions answered.
“We’re very excited to have a personal touch to our candidate forum. It’s a rare opportunity for each candidate to spend time with everyone there,” said Joe Welch, organizer and youth representative to Onalaska Alliance, the sponsoring organization.
Eight candidates have committed to being there, including Richard DeBolt, John Thompson, Brennen Bailey, Ed Orcutt, Amanda Price, Dianne Dorey’s chief appraiser representing her campaign, Gary Stamper and Jerry Pratt.
The Onalaska Alliance holds monthly community meetings on topics that are of interest to the residents of Onalaska and the surrounding area. For more information on the Alliance, call Cathy Murphy at 360-978-4018 or visit www.onalaskaalliance.org
