Meeting Planned on Land Protection

Protecting your land will be the subject of a meeting 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at Jeremy’s Farm to Table, 576 W. Main St., Chehalis.

A conversation between attorneys and landowners will provide options.

For those who own important natural, agricultural or historic lands may be able to save your land forever and realize significant tax savings through a conservation easement.

This is a free event designed for people who own land and want to protect it into the future.  This is an opportunity to learn about several ways to enhance your land, and perhaps start the discussion with your family.

The meeting is sponsored by the Chehalis River Basin Land Trust and funded by the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound.
