Mountain Festival Continues in Packwood

The Packwood Mountain Festival is being celebrated through Sunday with a variety of events throughout the weekend.

Saturday’s schedule will feature at parade at 10 a.m. 

A variety of events for kids will be ongoing throughout the day. 

Saturday evening will include a dinner and dance, with dinner at 6 p.m. and dance at 7.

On Sunday, there will be a 5k and 10k fun run/walk, which starts at 9 a.m. at the Packwood Timberland Library. A kids’ walk/run commences at 10:30 a.m.. At 1 p.m., there will be Native American drumming with Grandfather Roy Wilson of the Cowlitz Tribe and the Three Mountain Clan.
