Fairyblossom Festival Hits Pe Ell

Celebrate a weekend of fantasy at the Fairyblossom Festival in Pe Ell Friday through Sunday. This event will feature fun and games for people of all ages, including the Stone Soup Community Potluck and more. 

Become a Knight for a Day, shop merchants at The Fairy Market and enjoy live music performed by Northwest musicians and performers. Produced by Fantasy Arts Entertainment (FAE) Productions, the Fairyblossom Festival is a family-friendly festival celebrating fantasy, myth, magic, beauty, craftsmanship and art. Head on over to the Red Hawk Avalon, 26 Red Hawk Road in Pe Ell, and partake in the magic of community, education, and public works — all through the lens of folklore and fun.

Enjoy dinner on the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad & Museum’s Steam Train while solving an Agatha Christie murder mystery and taking in the rural landscape view from the train’s dining car. Clues and entertainment are provided along the way on this two-hour ride, which provides you the opportunity to hone your detective skills and solve the murder mystery. Package deal for this train includes the ticket for the ride and dinner with choice of baked salmon, chicken cordon bleu or prime rib. Red or white wine is also available to those 21+ for an additional $8. The Packwood branch of the Timberland Regional Library will host its Summer Concert in the Park behind the Packwood Timberland Library at 5 p.m. It’s a great way to start off your Fourth of July celebration. The evening of music will feature the Tacoma cover band FuzeBoxx. Fuzeboxx will be performing classic rock and foll from the 60’s to the 90’s. This is a free event. This event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Packwood Timberland Library.

Races begin at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors, active military and teenagers age 13-17, $10 for children age 6-10 and free for children 5 and younger.
