The Napavine Funtime Festival runs all day. This is a community event to honor Princess Napawinah, the Native American princess Napavine was named for. The weekend includes lawnmower races, a car show and more highlight this festival that has brought people together in Napavine for years. Rochester’s Gate Community Club’s annual blueberry pancake breakfast is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. July 20 at the Historic Gate Schoolhouse at 16925 Moon Road SW in Rochester.
The breakfast includes pancakes with blueberries from the River Blues Farm, eggs, sausage, orange juice and coffee. The breakfast also includes a raffle.
Tickets cost $6. Children under 4 and local firefighters eat for free. Raffle tickets cost $1 each or 6 for $5. More than 70 items will be raffled off, including tickets to theme parks and sporting events, firewood, gift certificates and more.
Proceeds will benefit the upkeep of the Gate Schoolhouse.
