The 10th Annual Lighted Tractor Parade

The 10th Annual Lighted Tractor Parade begins at 6 p.m. in downtown Centralia. The event is organized by the Centralia Downtown Association. The staging area for the parade will be in front of the Centralia College on Locust. At 6 p.m. the lighted tractor parade will head east on Locust Street, crossing Pearl Street then heading left onto Tower Avenue in front of the Fox Theatre where it will proceed up Tower Avenue to Center Street. Parts of Main, Pearl and Tower Avenue will be closed off during the parade. Ballet Theatre of Washington presents “The Nutcracker” 7 p.m. Dec. 6-7 and Dec. 13 and 2 p.m. Dec. 7 and Dec. 14. There will be a special abridged, narrated version for younger audiences offered at 6 p.m. Dec. 12. Located at the Historic Liberty Theatre, 413 North Tower, Centralia. Tickets cost $20 for adults, $15 for children and seniors. There are 100 tickets available to the Dec. 7 show available free to foster care families in Lewis or Thurston counties. Families must call and reserve their free tickets, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be purchased by calling (360) 623-9010 or going tobrownpapertickets.com.

The 24th Annual Nutcracker performance by the Southwest Washington Dance Center takes place at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Centralia College’s Corbet Theater. Tickets cost $24 for adults, $16 for children, seniors and military. A pay-what-you-can performance is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available after Dec. 8 at the Corbet Theater Box Office. Comedy at the Theater, featuring Chris Cope, 7 p.m. at the Chehalis Theater at 558 N. Market Boulevard. Tickets cost $15 in advance on eventbrite, $20 at the door. Cope is a Florida native living in Los Angeles, who has appeared on Conan, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Laughs on Fox, Tosh.0 and “Grey’s Anatomy.”

Offut Lake Boat Parade Benefit, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Offut Lake Resort, 4005, 120th Ave. SE. Tenino. The event includes festive lighted boats, holiday music and a bonfire. Best decorated boat will receive a $100 gift card to Lady of the Lake. Proceeds to go the Tenino Food Bank. 

On Stage Children’s Theatre presents “The Velveteen Rabbit,” 2 p.m. at Morton’s Roxy Theater. According to the theater,” Although it is the most modest toy in the nursery, the Velveteen Rabbit earns the love of a young boy and learns about the joys and pain of becoming ‘real.’ ” Sponsored by the Fire Mountain Arts Council. Disney’s “Frozen Jr.,” 2 p.m., W.F. West High School. Tickets cost $8. “Frozen Jr.” contains songs only available in the musical theater production, and is performed by students under 18. 

West Thurston Regional Fire Authority hosts its annual Breakfast with Santa, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at its Littlerock Station, 10828 Littlerock Rd. SW, Olympia. Tickets are $6 per person. The event includes arts and crafts, raffle items and a photo booth. Breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, fruit and a beverage. Canned food donations can be left under the giving tree.

Performances take place through Dec. 15. 

Breakfast with Santa, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Adna Grange, 123 Dieckman Road, Chehalis. Breakfast costs $6 for all ages. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, pancakes, fruit cup, sausage, juice and coffee. Kids’ meals include a make-and-take craft and a visit with Santa. 

Festival of Trees, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the BCJ Gallery at 233 W. Main Street in Morton. The event features a silent auction of decorated Christmas trees. The event is followed by a Living Nativity at the Roxy Theater next door at 5:30 p.m.
