Southwest Washington Fair Begins

Lewis County’s biggest attraction, the Southwest Washington Fair, runs Tuesday through Sunday in Chehalis.

A seemingly endless schedule of events runs throughout the six-day fair.

At 6 p.m. Tuesday is the ceremony that ends in the crowning of the fair’s Living Logo, Little Miss Friendly. At 7 p.m. is the Demolition Derby in the Grandstand.

On Wednesday, a High Tide Beach Boys Tribute will be both at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Thursday features a Bucky Covington concert at 7 p.m.

A Jessica Lynne concert will be at 4:30 p.m. At 6 p.m. are Friday Night Cage Fights in the Grandstand, and at 8 p.m. is Wilson-Fairchild.

Saturday brings Jackie Lee and Hell’s Belles concerts, at 5 and 8 p.m., respectively. At 6 p.m. will be the Saturday Night Rodeo & Wild Horse Race in the Grandstand.

On Sunday, the closing day, the KACS90.5 Family Day Concert will feature John Wilson, Unspoken.

All of the concerts noted above are on the Saloon Stage.

Advance ticket sales are: adults $8, children (6-12) and seniors $4 and $27 for an all-day carnival pass. Gate sales are $10 for adults, $6 for kids 6-12 and seniors, and $30 for a carnival pass.

Season passes in advance are:   adults (13-59) $40, senior citizens (60-plus) $22 and children (6-12) $22.

Admission at the gate is: adults $10, senior citizens and children (6-12) $6, and children 5 and under free.

Discount days include Tuesday, Kids Day (6-12) $3, Wednesday, Senior Day $3, Friday, Military Day, and Sunday, KACS Family Day, all ages half price.

One-day parking is $5. A season parking pass is $20.
