Comedy Night Coming to Flood Valley Brewing on Friday

Hub City Comedy Production will host a comedy night at the Flood Valley Brewing Craft Taphouse in Chehalis this Friday, Dec. 22.

Monica Nevi, a Seattle area native, will headline the event. She has performed in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival and the Seattle International Comedy Competition. She also finished first in the Olympic Peninsula Comedy Competition. She has opened for comedians Ari Shaffir, Sarah Colonna, Erik Griffin and Nick Swardson.

Nevi has appeared on Fox’s TV show “Laughs” as well as the Seattle-based television program “New Day Northwest.”

The show will also feature Cameron Mazzuca. It is hosted by Casey Mclain. It starts at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $10. They can be purchased at the door or beforehand at Flood Valley.

“I’m excited Monica is coming back to Chehalis and in such an intimate setting,” Gabe Botten, the producer of Hub City Comedy, said. “She now lives in L.A. and travels the entire country doing stand up in clubs and festivals. We are lucky to have her perform in such a small and intimate venue compared to a comedy club, like the Tacoma Comedy Club, where she will be headlining in just a few weeks.”

Hub City Comedy has provided the Twin Cities with shows for almost four years. Many of its productions have been held at the Fox Theatre in Centralia.

Flood Valley Brewing is located at 298 NW Chehalis Ave., Chehalis.
