City of Centralia Hiring Assistant Community Development Director

The City of Centralia is looking to hire an assistant community development director to supervise tasks such as building inspection, code enforcement and planning. Applications will be accepted through Monday and are available online at cityofcentralia.com.

According to the job listing, which was posted online yesterday afternoon, the position will assist “in the organization, operation and administration of the Centralia Community Development Department by performing highly responsible administrative and managerial work…” It requires a bachelor’s degree in public or business administration and four years of managerial experience in a public works organization and lists a monthly salary range of $5,759-$7,603.



The person who holds the position will also be expected to fill in on Parks and Recreation Department matters when Community Development Director Emil Pierson is unavailable.
