Election 2019

In the lone Pe Ell Town Council race in this year’s primary, for position 5 on the council, Marjorie (Midge) Church is leading two opponents with 43.75 percent of the vote as of the first ballot count Tuesday evening, or 49 total votes. 

Christopher Dodd is currently in second place with 38.39 percent of the vote, or 43 votes, and Nicholas Schenk is in third with 15.18 percent, or 17 votes. Three votes for write-in candidates were received. 

The top two candidates will advance to the November general election. The ballot count will be updated Wednesday afternoon.

Position 5 is currently held by Dolores Lee, who did not file for reelection.
