The Chehalis City Council approved an action to surplus six items it declared no long necessary.

The equipment included two Land Pride rotary cutters, a 2002 Celli rototiller, and a 2005 Maschio rototiller.

The equipment will be surplused by the Wastewater Division and traded in for a new rotary cutter to use at the poplar tree plantation.

The estimated value of the equipment is approximately $2,500 and a new rotary cutter is listed at $2,600.

Also surplused was a 1995 Ford F-250. The Wastewater Division wanted to dispose of the vehicle at auction.

A NEC Aspire Telephone system, including a controller and approximately 20 desktop telephone units, will also be surplused and recycled.
