Chehalis-Centralia Railroad Pumpkin Trains Scheduled for Oct. 26, 27

Tickets are now on sale for the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad’s 2019 Pumpkin Trains.  

“Children and adults are encouraged to wear costumes and help create a fun filled Halloween atmosphere,” according to a news release from the Railroad. 

The Chehalis Valley train excursions are scheduled for 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.  Saturday, Oct. 26 and at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27.

Riders under 15 years old will get goody bags of treats and pumpkins courtesy of Willy Tee’s Pumpkin Patch. 

The cost is $15 per person for the ride, pumpkin and goody bag. Children 2 years and under ride free.



To reserve tickets, go to SteamTrainRide.com. Tickets are general admission, so come early to have a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. A limited number of walk-up tickets are available for each ride with tickets available in the depot. 

Riders should arrive approximately a half-hour before boarding. Snacks and concessions are available at the depot. 

The train cars are not heated so riders are encouraged to dress warmly. 

Due to the restoration work on the steam locomotive, the Pumpkin Train will be pulled by our the railroad’s No. 6 diesel locomotive.
