Burger Claim is located next to the Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound.
On Tuesday, Nov. 7, the Centralia Lions Club will hold a fundraiser at the Burger Claim in Grand Mound in an effort to raise money for college scholarships.
The scholarships are awarded to a graduating senior from Centralia High School each year. The club’s goal for the upcoming year is to raise at least $1,000.
In order to contribute to the effort, the Burger Claim restaurant has agreed to donate a portion of its sales receipts from Nov. 7 to the scholarship fund.
“So, come enjoy some great food and support a very worthwhile project,” wrote Centralia Lions Club member Bill Scholl in an email to The Chronicle.
The event will take place from noon until 8 p.m.
