Centralia Library to Show ‘Criminal Minds’ on Wednesdays

Posted

Starting Wednesday, July 8, and continuing over the next five Wednesdays, adults will be able to spend the noon hour at the Centralia Timberland Library watching the television series “Criminal Minds,” starting from season one.

The popular CBS TV show follows an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze twisted criminal minds, trying to anticipate the criminals’ next moves before they strike again. It makes for good TV, according to both critics and fans, because the dramas focus on understanding the criminal rather than on the crime.

Using the Centralia Timberland Library Facebook page, staff asked patrons to vote on which show they would enjoy watching on their lunch break, and “Criminal Minds” was the clear winner. If the lunch break series is successful, the library may expand the program to watch a new TV series.

The program is licensed for use by public libraries through Movie Licensing USA.

The dates for this new program are: Wednesdays, July 8, 15, 22, 29, and Aug. 5 and 12. The show will start promptly at noon and end a little before 1 p.m. Patrons are welcome to bring a packed lunch to eat during the show.

The Centralia Timberland Library is located at 110 S. Silver St. For more information, contact the library at (360) 736-0183.
