Centralia Intersection to Become Temporary Four-Way Stop for Repairs

Posted

Drivers in Centralia will encounter an unfamiliar four-way stop at the corner of Main Street and Washington Avenue on Friday.

Four-way stop laws, including temporary signs, will be in place at the intersection from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. in order to allow  Centralia Public Works employees to replace a traffic signal controller cabinet.

A press release from the public works department noted that, “The City of Centralia and Washington State Department of Transportation ask for your patience at this intersection and surrounding area until the work is complete.” Questions can be directed to the City of Centralia Public Works Department at 360-330-7512.
