Centralia College’s Four-Year Degree Program Passes Another Key Milestone

Posted

The Higher Education Coordinating Board on Thursday approved the new bachelor of applied science in management degree at Centralia College.

Centralia College’s first four-year degree now has full endorsement from the HEC Board and the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges.

The approval makes the program at Centralia College the 10th four-year degree program at a two-year college in the state. Only two of these programs offer degrees in management.

Centralia College is still awaiting accreditation from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The college is providing information to prospective students and is anticipating admitting students in the fall, pending approval from NWCCU.

Once approved, the Department of Education will accept the program so eligible BASM students can receive financial aid.
