Cascade Mental Health Care will host its third annual Legislative forum on Monday, Dec. 5, from 4 to 5 p.m.

After legislators are introduced, social service agencies serving Lewis County will have the opportunity to inform legislators on what they do and why their services are important.

Time will be limited to five minutes per agency, with one minute for questions.

Legislators from the 19th and 20th districts will be present as part of the legislative panel, according to a press release from Cascade.

“This forum is a must-attend if you want to find out about the service needs and gaps in Lewis County,” Cascade’s CEO Richard Stride said in the release. “The forum has been instrumental in informing our local legislators about issues near and dear to the hearts of their constituents. The outcome of the forum has been our legislatures are then able to support proposed legislation benefiting our neighbors, our families, and the most vulnerable of our Lewis County citizenry.”

The forum is open to the public. It will be held at Cascade Mental Health Care, 2428 West Reynolds Ave., Centralia.
