California Man Reported Missing While Traveling in Olympia

A California man reported missing while on a road trip was last seen in Olympia, according to a press release from the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office. 

Maximilian A. Robertson, known as Max, was last seen July 22 parking his Mercedes van at the Ship Wreck Cafe on Madrona Beach Road in Olympia, then walking toward the bay. 

Robertson was traveling from California, according to the Sheriff’s Office. 

His vehicle was impounded two days later. On July 27, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office received a report of found property in the 3200 block of Aspinwall Road Northwest in Olympia, which included cash, two cell phones and an iPad later determined to belong to Robertson. 



On Aug. 2, Robertson was listed as a missing person by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office. 

Robertson is described as a white male standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. It is unknown what kind of clothing he was last seen wearing.
