‘Bloodhounds!!’ Mystery Dinner Theatre Coming to Rochester

Posted

If you don’t mind a little mystery and bloodworks with your dinner then the Tenino-Young-At-Heart Theatre and Rochester Citizens Group have cooked up something that should suit your taste.

On Friday and Saturday the South Thurston County organizations will present “Bloodhounds!!” — a participatory dinner theatre written by Eileen Moushey.

The scream-season dinner and drama will begin at 7 p.m. each evening in Swede Hall. A press release from the Tenino-Young-At-Heart Theatre and  Rochester Citizens Group explained the theme as follows:

“The year is 1980. The little town of Akron, Ohio is quiet, too quiet. The Akron Star prepares for their October issues. Little do they know, danger lurks amongst them. There will be blood, there will be mystery, and maybe if you’re lucky, an interview with a vampire.”

Admission to the spooky dinner is $35 per person. A ticket includes dinner, dessert and seats for the show. There will also be a no-host beer and wine option.

Swede Hall is located at 18543 Albany St SW, Rochester. Tickets to “Bloodhounds!!” are available online at Teninoyoungathearttheatre.org.
