BLM Gathering Input on Coal Program at Meeting in Seattle

SEATTLE (AP) — The Bureau of Land Management is soliciting public input for its review of the federal coal program.

A meeting in Seattle on June 21 will be among the public meetings being held across the country. The Seattle meeting will begin at 10 a.m., but those who want to register to speak can arrive as early as 8 a.m. at the Sheraton in downtown Seattle.



Six public meetings are being held, from Wyoming to Pennsylvania. Written comments are also being accepted online and through email or regular mail. The deadline for submitting comments is July 28.
