Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Washington moved its offices from Black Lake Boulevard to Heritage Court over the Thanksgiving holiday. The new office is located at 2424 Heritage Court SW, Suite 302 in Olympia.

“We are excited for this change because of the additional space for our MySTEAM (Science, Technology, Arts, and Mathematics) lab,” said Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Washington chief executive officer Jeff Engle in a press release. “This new space also gives us the opportunity to collaborate with our neighbors in the building, like the Boys and Girls Club.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters was at its old office for about 10 years. The organization will be fully functioning out of the new office by December.

“Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever,” reads a press release from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Washington. “We serve children and youth ages 6-18 years old in the region of Thurston, Mason, Lewis, Pacific, and Grays Harbor counties. We are one of the only evidence-based, volunteer supported organizations that does not charge a fee to the children or families that we serve.”
