The Ballet Theatre of Washington is looking for performers to fill the ranks in its upcoming performance of “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.” Auditions will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20.

Dancers ages 8 and up are invited to try out for the performance. Additionally, the Ballet Theatre of Washington is seeking individuals with “dynamic talents” from the community to entertain crowds with less formal crafts.

“So if you are an acrobat, juggler, contortionist, sword swallower, or have some other amazing talent, they would like to hear from you,” noted a press release.

There will be three performances of “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” on the weekend of April 20-21 in the Corbet Theatre at Centralia College.

On Jan. 27, there will be four audition time slots. Dancers ages 8-9 will perform from 2:30-3:30 p.m., with dancers ages 10-12 taking the stage from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Dancers age 13 and up will try out from 4:30-5:30 p.m., and the community talent portion of the audition will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Auditions will be held at Centralia Ballet Academy, located at 413 N. Tower Ave. in Centralia. Additional information is available online at balletwashington.org or by calling 360-623-9010.
