Astrophysicist to Speak About His Book at Winlock Library

Astrophysicist Ethan Siegel will speak at the Winlock Timberland Library from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 20.

Siegel will discuss his book, “Beyond the Galaxy: How Humanity Looked Beyond Our Milky Way and Discovered the Entire Universe.”

Siegel studies the Big Bang Theory and how it pertains to how life reached the point of today. He grew up in New York City, living in a plethora of other places. He currently resides in Toledo. Siegel received an undergraduate degree in physics and classics, and later went to graduate school at the University of Florida to become a theoretical cosmologist, a subfield of astrophysics.



All Timberland Library programs are free and open to the public. The Winlock Timberland Library is located at 322 NE 1st Street.
