The theme of the 2015 Southwest Washington Fair will be “Fair in Full Bloom,” according to a press release issued by the fair office Monday. This year’s logo, produced by Olympia artist Bill Downing, was also released. According to the release, “The artwork and design once again purposely resembles a vintage fruit crate label. This style and format were introduced in 2011 and is the fifth in the series of ‘fruit crate label’ fair logos. These designs have proven to be enormously popular.” Fair dates for this year are August 18 -23. Currently, the Southwest Washington Fair is also offering a “Bunny of a Deal” discount package — consisting of 6 admissions, 2 carnival wristbands, a parking pass and a fair souvenir pin. This $115 value package is on sale now at the fair office for $75 until May 15.
