Washington Minimum Wage to Increase to $9.32 on Jan. 1

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Washington state's minimum wage will increase 13 cents to $9.32 an hour starting on New Year's Day.

The state's current rate of $9.19 an hour is already the highest state minimum wage in the nation. The state's Department of Labor and Industries announced the new wage on Monday.
