Top Health Care Providers Sought for State Award

The Washington State Board of Health is accepting nominations for the Warren Featherstone Reid Award from May 1 to June 24. The award recognizes health care facilities and providers throughout the state that exhibit exceptional quality and value in the delivery of health services.

The Board of Health seeks nominations of outstanding health care providers and facilities committed to improving management practices, ensuring high quality, increasing value, expanding access, maximizing customer services and increasing innovation in health care for patients and families across the state.

The recipient of the award is chosen on an annual basis by the governor in collaboration with the secretary of health.



The award was created in 1994 in honor of Warren Featherstone Reid, a public servant dedicated to improving access to quality and affordable health care.
