One Injured in Interstate 5 Crash North of Centralia Wednesday

One person was hurt in a crash on Interstate 5 on Wednesday afternoon just north of Centralia.

Riverside Fire Authority firefighters reported that the crash took place in the northbound lanes near milepost 84 at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, and involved a semi truck and a car.

Firefighters responded and found a 43-year-old woman had been hurt in the crash. She was taken to Providence Centralia Hospital, where she was reported to be in stable condition.



The driver of the semi truck was unhurt.

The Washington State Patrol also responded to the crash scene, which briefly tied up northbound traffic on the freeway.
