New Tattoo Shop Opens in Toledo

No Limits Tattoo opened Monday at 100 Ramsey Way in Toledo. The new shop is offering custom and flash art tattooing.

“We’re trying to do a custom style tattooing,” said owner Derek House, 42, of Toledo. “We’re doing tribal, flowers, girly tattoos, we’re trying to cover everything.”

The shop currently has one other tattoo artist, Nathan Kennedy, 28, of Toledo, but hopes to expand and hire a piercer in the future.

They would also like to offer fade-away tattoos, clothing and other merchandise.

House said he used to work as a pipe welder in Olympia until work became extremely slow.

“I’d been drawing my whole life,” he said. “I thought, ‘This town’s never had a tattoo shop, so why not?’”

House then spent time practicing on friends and obtaining the required licenses to open his own business.

“The art I was doing on paper was starting to look more realistic,” he said. “It’s been a fun ride. It’s nice to be able to go into work and love what you do.”

Customers can call (360) 864-6969 or (360) 270-2909 to set up an appointment. No Limits Tattoo also accepts walk-ins.
