A level-three sex offender, Damien K. Andrus, 43, has registered with the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office as residing on the 12500 block of Marshall Road Southeast in Tenino.
According to a news release, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office gives a general public notification when an offender registers in the county as a transient or when his behavior or actions are considered to be high risk.
Andrus pleaded guilty to second-degree rape in Pierce County in December 1990, according to the release. The incident stemmed from Andrus, then 19 years old, sexually assaulting a 21-year-old man. He was sentenced to 89 months.
In 1989, Andrus was convicted of indecent liberties in Pierce County Juvenile Court after sexually assaulting a 15-year-old female.
Andrus is described as a 5-foot-8 black male with black hair and brown eyes. He weighs approximately 160 pounds.
